At Chanel, the hair was worn in a messy bun with colourful feathered pieces, pleated rosettes and sparkly headbands alike. Do it yourself: - Prep hair with some volumizing hairspray. - Take a comb and backcomb the hair for a messy texture. - Gather hair in a high pony tail and wrap the pony tail around the elastic band into a loose bun and pin with bobby pins. - Pull out a few pieces of hair to frame the face. - Spray some more hairspray for hold. - Add accesories of your choice. Suggestions: sparkly hair clips,

At the Stella McCartney show, the eyes got the most attention by makeup artist Pat McGrath and her CoverGirl team. Do it yourself: - Apply coverup and minimum foundation on the face along with some beige eyeshadow on the eyelids. - Apply shimmery highlighter just under the brow bones and the top of the cheek bones to illuminate the eyes. - Finished with mascara.

- Before blowdrying the hair, apply thickening lotion.

For uber bright and bold reds at Giambattista Valli, the pros used a brush for applying the lipstick instead of straight from the tube for more precision.“Start in the middle with a strong lip color and work your way out,” MAC makeup artist Lisa Butler suggests. “Don’t apply liner first and then fill in, otherwise you’ll have a sharp line and less than bold color underneath.”
