JYJ 'The Beginning' Showcase Live in Malaysia 2010 Coverage

JYJ (Jaejoong/Yoochun/Junsu) held their New Album Showcase Tour in Malaysia 2010 "The Beginning" which attracted more than 4,000 attendees. The event took place on October 17,2010 at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur. Fans came as far from Indonesia, Japan, Singapore and etc. just to catch a glimpse of the JYJ members. Previously, they were in Bangkok and Singapore prior to their new album showcase "The Beginning". Read on more for the full scoop!

Die-hard fans camped overnight and some even camped since Friday night just to get the best sight of the boys. At 1PM, we can hear them rehearsing in the stadium which caused the fans to go "Gaga" while queueing up in the line.

The gates were officially opened at 2.30 PM and fans quickly filled up every seats in the venue. Soon, the whole stadium became a red sea as it were lighted up with red light sticks. Before the show began, the crowd were practicing their fan chants and cheering their names .

The show officially kicked off at 3PM as they belted out with their first number "Empty" from their new album which got the crowd ecstatic. Some even screamed their lungs out to show their love for the boys.

Next ,they gave a powerful performance with "Be The One" which is an upbeat track. Their sleek dance choreography matches the beat of the track.

The show continued on with 'Be My Girl' which is a medium tempo R&B track which is really soothing and calm .After 'Be My Girl' performance ended, the boys headed backstage for an outfit change.

While the boys were at backstage, a VCR was played on the huge screen which shows the boys in LA recording their global album. For "The Beginning", they had collaborated with top-notch US producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins.The members of JYJ also contributed a song each to the album with "Still in Love" Jaejoong , "I Can Soar" Junsu and "I Love You" Yoochun.

Soon, they emerged back onto stage with an outfit changed as they prepare to interact with the fans. A Q & A session was held as they were interviewed by the beautiful Serena C with the help of a translator.

They also performed "Found You" which is the official sountrack for KBS Drama 'SukyunKwan Scandal' whom Yoochun starred in as the lead. The drama is currently airing on KBS World on Astro Channel 391 with english subtitles. So, catch it while you can.

Followed up, they strut their stuff with "Ayy Girl" which is produced by Kanye West and Malik Yusef. Finally, the boys ended the showcase with a Remix version of 'Empty' and got the crowd energized and jumped along with them.

Meanwhile, they will continue their tour to the end of November in Taipei, Shanghai, Hawaii, New York, Las Vegas and LA. Aside from this, they will embark their world concert which will kick off  on November 27th and November 28th in Seoul as the first leg. Fans rejoice as they promised to come back to Malaysia for their world tour around June/July 2011 season .
