Go Behind the Scenes with SHINee's "Sherlock" Topless Photoshoot
SHINee recently made their comeback to the K-pop music scene with their 4th mini album - "Sherlock". Also, SNSD's Jessica was featured in "Sherlock" music video which created much hyped for their comeback. To increase the anticipation, SM Entertainment revealed topless teaser photos of the members from their upcoming mini album and pretty much received mixed reactions from netizens. Well, the five members of SHINee have finally speak up their thoughts on the topless concept photos for Sherlock.
As controversial it sounds, SHINee's topless photos became a hot topic as soon as it was revealed to the public. On March 23rd, SHINee shared an interesting story on their concept photos on SBS Power FM 'Boom's Young Street'. They started off by saying, “All the members were very satisfied. We really like it a lot.”
When Boom asked, “Who was the most content after taking the photos?” Minho responded, “Jonghyun worked out the most, so he looked the most satisfied after taking his shirtless photo.”
They were also asked if they used any computer graphics for the photos as photo shoot pictorials are usually touched up with CG (computer graphics). Minho then answered, “The concept was to focus on showing the bodyline, not the entire body. We were trying to display the lines of our bodies rather than our muscles, so we used bright lighting to hide our muscles as best as possible.”
Minho continued, “But Jonghyun has so many muscles that we needed to use computer graphics to remove them.” The members then added, "Jonghyun’s body right now is almost like that of a ‘Dragon Ball’ character!'. Boom expressed his admiration for the photos, as he said, “After seeing SHINee’s album jacket photos, I felt like saving them on my external hard drive. It is that valuable.”
SHINee's "Sherlock" jacket photos definitely caused a controversy for its bizarre topless concept. Check out the photo below!
